Geography
With Ukraine's 603,700 square kilometres (233,100 sq mi) and a coastline of 2,782 kilometres (1,729 mi) it is the 44th largest country in the world. The landscape is mostly fertile plains. Its also consist of many plateaus. They is are many rivers that run through the country too. It only has two mountain ranges, the Carpathian Mountains which lie in the west of Ukraine. The other mountain range is the Crimean Mountains and they are located on the Crimean peninsula. Ukraine has a big variety of animal life, fungi, micro-organisms, and plants. It is a part of Europe.
